Thursday’s Workshop for Outplacement Professionals
Just want to announce that I will be holding a 1 hr workshop for Outplacement professionals ONLY, on Oct 8th from 7pm -8pm at Umpqua Bank, Portland OR.
We will cover:
- Top 5 LinkedIn Mistakes
- 4 step process for getting interviews with Linkedin
- 3 objections job-seekers have for using social media
- My microblogging is the new job board

(as a side note, I have sent invitations to almost every Outplacement professional in Portland. Only 1 has RSVPed. I’m really surprised. I thought this training would be a no-brainier. A word of warning to job-seekers, if you are using outplacement services, make sure they know how to use social media and can train you properly.)
(on another note, I thought it would be cute if I used LinkedIn to promote this event and DM outplacement folks in Portland, afterall, I am training on how to use LinkedIn. Someone complained and now I am blocked. Some Expert I am! Lesson learned. Now I have a story to tell the next time you see me present.)
