Career Enlightenment’s 5 Step Process
1. Finding YOUR Brand Identity
Most people jump face first into filling out their social media profiles without a strategy. Before using any social media technology, the job seeker MUST first know:
- Who is the target company
- What they are trying to accomplish, an interview, info interview or credibility building
- What are the two main concerns of the target company
This information informs Your Personal Brand: What messages are used, what images are use and what media outlets are employed.
2. Using An Online Resume

Many professionals are on LinkedIn but very few use it effectively to get job interviews. In fact, most people I talk to don’t even have 100% complete profiles. This is like showing up to a job interview in your underwear.
This second phase includes cleaning up the LinkedIn profile and establishing profiles on 5 other Google Indexed professional networking sites.
Paper resume’s often fail to portray the personality of the candidate. Online resumes and portfolios allow the job-seeker visually demonstrate who they are.

3. Get An Online Reputation

Some people think that if they never did anything online, they don’t have to worry about an online reputation. Unfortunately, whether we like it or not, hiring managers WILL Google you. Do you know what they will find?
In this phase we asses how bad it is, and develop a powerful strategy to completely transform your online reputation.
4. Twitter for Job Seekers
Twitter is NOT what you had for breakfast. Many job seekers are reluctant to use Twitter. But did you know that Twitter is the ONLY real time job board in the world with literally thousands of jobs posted daily?
In this phase we will de-mystify Twitter, show you how to Tweet effectively and for employment (and we’ll have some fun too!)
5. Getting to the Interview FAST

Now that we’ve laid a strong foundation, have an attractive online resume, have an online reputation that works and can use Twitter, it is time to tie it all together and actually go out and get interviews.
I will introduce you to several proven techniques that use LinkedIn, Twitter and other tools to get you in front of hiring mangers in 1 week or less.
